      Great set of hunting knifes

      Picture is deceiving the small knife is a little smaller than shown. Knifes are sharp mine had a burr but still works well. Snaps on leather sheath are tight and the knifes rest on each other causing a wear mark on the handles. Leather is a bit dry and needed a bit of conditioning. Finish on the metal was well done no loose parts or imperfections.

      Beware of the smaller knife......

      Knife set came in earlier than expected. Re-honed both knives and the small knife would not hold a good edge. I was fortunate to harvest a deer a few days later and started using the smaller knife to clean the animal. Very difficult to get through the skin and open it up. Finished up the animal using the larger blade and worked out fine. The small knife did work out OK to cape the animal, but had to be re-honed about 3 times to keep an edge. Not very satisfied with the smaller blade.

      This knife set is all that say it is. I have never had a knife this sharp out of the box. The workmanship is perfect and both knives are comfortable to use and handle. I have 5 stars.

      Case 2-Knife Set

      My husband has carried a single Case knife at his side for many years. His eyes got wide and excited when he saw the double one. It came promptly, and he opened it as an early Christmas present. He is impressed with the quality of both the knives and the case. The knives were well-sharpened on arrival. The case with its 2 knives provides him with more options for 'fixin' things' when he's working around the farm.
