    Great stereo

    Bought as gift for my daughter to put in an older truck, a 2002 F250, was easy to install, paired with some new Kicker speakers it sounds awesome. The hands free phone feature was the biggest selling point, wanted her to have that capability as we do in our new trucks.

    Top Down Tunes Simplified

    Love the 163BT. The Bluetooth connectivity makes interfacing with my iPhone seamless. Since I installed this in a convertible, I didn't want to deal with CDs or corded connections. The hands free phone feature also works well even with the top down. The face is fairly easy to read with the help of multiple colors to choose from for lighting. My only complaints are I wish you could adjust the angle of the face for easier reading and reduce the number of buttons on the face and make the remaining ones larger. That's mainly my age getting the better of me. The 3 sets of outputs made installing multiple amplifiers easy and the controls allow for easy balancing of the speakers. The TuneIt App needs some tweeking to become truly useful. Overall very happy.

    Awesome Sound

    My old cheap stereo worked, but I never knew what I was missing until I installed this Alpine CDE-163BT. It has tons of features I haven't even figured out how to use yet, but it was worth the money to get deeper bass and clearer highs. I just wish they'd make them simpler and more intuitive to operate! Mine is installed in a 79 Corvette and it's not easy to lean forward to adjust it while driving.

    Great head unit that does everything well.

    It was a little hard to set up but once I got all the functions down the unit sounds great, and being able to adjust the settings on my phone with the Alpine app is the best. This head unit makes the rest of my components come alive and now I have the system that I was hoping for.
