        Radio is in great shape but I almost returned it. After I gave it a good cleaning. I hooked it up and everything functioned properly. My only complaint is why do you use self tapping screws for the mobile mount. Very disappointed.

        Great radio! Heavy as a brick - all heat sink. Solid 85w (toned down for local repeaters). Billboard-size display. Easy programing with RT Systems software/cable (I'm through messing with Yaesu's manuals). Gave my FT-2800 to my newly licensed Bro-in-law. 73! KN6LD
