    Great ruler has many uses, love the zero center -easy to see that items are aligned on the left and right. Metal edge to cut and not damage ruler is a plus.

    For DETAIL this is the BEST ruler I have ever purchased ! I am an artisan who owns 5 specialized rulers, even ones for engineers. For my purpose, this is the best one I have ever purchased. It is HEAVY and STAYS INPLACE just as well as cork-backed non-slip ones, while cutting. The metal edge on one side for cutting is unobtrusive, allows you to draw a line incredibly close to the edge, and won't cut your fingers. Seriously, I have put away 4 of the other 5 rulers now that I own this one.
