      Excellent substitute

      As working SNES and NES systems become less available and more expensive, this is a great way to play your old cartridge games. Hyperkin 2 is usually reasonably priced on eBay, and they can be sold for a small profit at flea markets

      Doesn't be work.

      I'm not sure if it's somehow not compatible with my games but they are original and work in my original system. But none out of my 20 games worked.

      Forget Nintendo!

      When I first saw advertisements for Retron, I was very skeptical because nothing could possibly match the best game from my childhood. Well as it turns out for 20 bucks it works just as fine as any Nintendo ever did. And I got a game cartridge with 150 games on it. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have this. And every girl wants to come over and play. Just do yourself a favor and get it. You'll love it! Plus now you're old enough to drink alcohol while playing the games from your childhood. It just doesn't get better than this

      It's just like a SNES, except...

      The sound quality on this unit is faulty. I'm not sure if it's my setup, or what, but I did not have issues with the sound on my SNES. I ended up buying a preamp and plugging it into the Retron.
