      Overall a camera worth purchasing

      Pros: Very easy to set up in the vehicle, has versatile swivel options when mounted, the display on the camera is clear and it's nice to see exactly where the camera is pointing, software use on the computer is very simple to use, I used on my Windows computer. Records a clear enough video to record the route. Constructive criticism: Does not come with micro chip card, suction cup does not hold well, but I was able to wet it and get it to stick, camera is not USB compatible with computer. The only interaction between camera and PC is the memory card. With the program used on the computer, the recorded video playback does not have a full screen option (not that I could find yet, if any). I could not read license plates on vehicles as I could with previous model cameras I've used. Video ...

      Pure Crap

      It is not 1080 is is only 720, not that that would matter because this seems like a rebuilt unit anyway. The charger port on the camera itself is loose and crappy and wouldn't charge or stay turned on. The screen picture, for the three seconds it did actually turn on, kept breaking up as if it has been thrown on the floor or hit with something. This product is cheap and cheesey. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

      Best Bang for the buck

      I bought 3 dash cameras. This one and 2 of another that was recommended by AARP. After receiving all of them I unboxed them and actually installed this one in my car for a test drive. It worked so well I moved it to my wife's car (which is easy to do because of the suction mount) and now she is raving on how well it works. She just plugs it in when she started the car and unplugs it when she reaches work. Nothing could be simpler. If you have a need to see the video it is very easy to just pull the unit out of the stand and remove the SD card ad plug it into your computer. You must user the reader that is installed on the SD card in order to view the video but I see that as any sort of setback except it would be nice to be able to view it with any video player.
