    Great cam for high rpms.

    I bought and installed this cam kit myself. I've been working on bikes for years now and these S&S cam kits are great. I just installed this 585GE (gear & easy start) in a 2009 road king with a 96 CID engine. Per customer instructions I reinstalled the factory push rods and lifters (Not my Recommendation) it runs fine but I will tell you that you will need to buy a tuner for your bike. I installed a Vance and hines fp3 on this bike and you will have to drive it for awhile and do some tuning before it will smoothen out. The fp3 has a auto tuner built in to help with this step. Keep in mind this 585 kit works in the 3000 to 6000 rpm range. If you want a daily driver this is not the one for you. You want something in the idle or 1500 rpm to about 4500 rpms like the 851 or so. Hope this ...

    Bullet proof cam set.

    Great cam set. Bullet proof gear drive, and easy start. Good mid level power and will pull to the rev limiter kicks in. Replaced a set of SE 259e cams with them in a SE Tire Shredder kit. Pulls a little stronger on the top end and cured the hot hard start issues.
