  • exellent, well researched read by extremely competent author

The book is an exacting, specific account of this boat, her cruises and her commander. I have read much on the subjecty and the hackneyed phrase "I felt like I was there" comes startlingly true in this account; mainly becasue most of thde information came from the captain himself or members of his crew. I have read others works by this author and would recommend them as highly.

This book was purchased as a gift. I read it years ago when it was first published and it's evidently no longer in print.
