Provides very good volume and tone from the tiny speaker. FM band is very easy to tune. AM tuning takes a bit more effort. Make sure you read the instructions and change the AM tuning to 10 MHZ. The factory setting is 9 MHZ. Once I made this change this little dynamo was picking up AM stations from up to 500 miles away during night time scanning. It is a little gem!
