      Stainless steel is the only way to go!!

      To begin with it is stanless Steel which will hold up against acidic fumes from Propane, Galvanized products struggle to be in the same league as stainless steel because its corosive gas eats galvanized products up. So their is no contest, This is my new lifetime vent cover. More expensive but cheaper over the next hundred years,. My last galvanized top lasted about 25 years. This is my forever vent top, Great piece! Love it Richard Pease-Grant
