The 6th box had been previously opened and was missing quite a few pieces from set screws to bolts. The package with the hardware had clearly been previously ripped open (labeled A-H, certain pockets open, not others). Easily replaced at hardware store store luckily. So it's like, new, but new new. My guess is someone's prior return. Either way, totally worth it
