Best-sounding pickup from Fender I've ever heard/played/owned, and I've had more than a handful. Plenty of rich mid-range bark/growl/grind/bite/punch detail with all of the bottom end you need to support it. I've been disappointed by what many of the others have promised to deliver, but this pickup is exactly what a mid-to-late seventies Fender Jazz Bass pickup should sound like. Gets you right to that mid-late decade Fender Jazz tone that you know by ear.
