    A bargain can be found for this kit!

    All new tooling of a significant tank used in early days of WWII with the invasion of France. Subsequent tanks captured by Germans put to use for security. Model features link and length injection molded hard plastic tracks. It makes all the old issues of this model obsolete. I hope Tamiya sells the tracks as an add on to the old Heller kits!! First rate quality as expected from Tamiya.

    Tamiya R35

    This looks to be a really descent kit that I have slated to build later this year. While Tamiya is in my top 5 manufacturers their are some flaws and this is generally with the thickness of the fenders like their other armor kits and need to be ground down if you intend to warp, bend or show damage. Like most kits from other manufacturers the tracks are okay and should be replaced with a more detailed set from Model Kasten if you can find them. Model Kasten tracks are highly detailed and very accurate but are a challenge during construction as they are delicate until they are built. So not for a beginner. I look forward to building this kit and adding the Dragon French Soldiers Sedan 1940 to go with it. Tamiya's attention to detail is top notch overall and their are lots of aftermarket ...
