Also, the spindle was out of line with the lock mechanism so mounting the t-bar when fitted straight resulting in having to mount the interior plate at 45 degrees. The seller tried to help but there are no instructions with the kit either. The main issue is with the item itself rather than the seller who would have accepted a return. I made it work in the end but a lot of faff.
