    I looked and looked for "QUALITY" wood grips/stocks for an Inland 1911A1 before settling on these... PERFECT! The wood grain matches (both panels) and they are AMERICAN walnut (not imported, grain-less hardwood). These did not have the "fit-all" ambi-cut for the safety like all of the others out there. They are specific and accurate for a "G.I." model 1911A1.
