    When Napa Long is shorter than vintage

    The casting of these wrenches looks a little cheap and I haven't had to apply a lot of torque on them yet so I don't know for certain how well they will perform. I bought a vintage standard size set on eBay at the same time that were a one half inch to three quarter inches longer per wrench. The 18 mm wrench is 10.5 inches long whereas my REGULAR 18 mm wrench is just under 9 inches long. The rest of the NAPA wrenches are about an inch longer. I had hoped they would be two to three inches longer but for the price they will have to do.

    High quality & Low price!

    I don’t think that there’s a better quality wrench set to be had anywhere near the price of this set. They’re made by Danaher Tools which also makes wrenches for one of the big names in the tool truck business. The only down side of this set is that it skips the 17&19mm sizes. That’s not a deal breaker at this price point though. I just picked up the 19&17 for cheap and the set is complete. I’ve been a professional mechanic for 30 years and I own all of the tool truck wrenches. These wrenches are very close to the quality and features of a SnapOn Flankdrive wrench without the price tag. Don’t think about it. Buy them if you need metric combination wrenches. You’re going to be glad that you did.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    I was really surprised at the quality of these wrenches. I don't like that fact that there's a gap in the sizes, so decided to buy some extra wrenches to fill the gap. I found that the long pattern GearWrench non-ratcheting wrenches are almost identical: looks like same forging, and open end jaw shape is same, so is good choice to fill the gap if you have to have the 16mm and 17mm like I do. These wrenches are an absolute BARGAIN at this price !! BUY THEM NOW while they still have some. Ad doesn't state this but the wrenches are Napa Pro wrenches.
