    Sultry and feminine

    I really wanted to try this scent, because the Lalique fragrances appeal to me in general. This is a scent with juicy notes, but it never smells too childish on me. The first impression is actually a smoky and fresh floral, which was unexpected, given that the black currant is what I hear most fragrance fans say they smell first. Of course, everyone's chemistry is different and florals tend to leap to the front on me, unless the fruity notes are mimic apple or melon. This wears close to the skin, so it never feels as though the fragrance is wearing me. I've not yet worn it enough in public to know if it will garner compliments. I have plenty of scents at this time, so I doubt I will pick up a full bottle, but this is a nice size sample to slip in my bag for a pick me up. I'm pleased that I ...

    it is a wonderful scent, but you may find that between season and diet and climate and environment this may or may not work for you - for me evanescent sums up the experience, it's great to wear out to dinner as the compliments and bouquet fade before interfering with the food.
