It is fastened with screws, but the screws have no holes to thread into, but slots, guaranteeing they will splinter if you try. I used wood glue to try and piece this abomination together, but the tolerances are so wide it is hard to get a tight seal so the glue can adhere. Bad directions; all in Chinese, parts are not numbered.
