    after going back several times and closely looking at this and reading the description for it - several times - i still come away , automatically being of the mind that it will be a 3/4 inch tip.... meaning the tip will fit a 3/4 inch cane shaft... it does not .... the open end outside measurement... one that does a person no good at all... is 3/4ths inch across .... a buyer needs to know and thinks they are getting the inside measurement so they know it will slide on into position.
