The comb fingers are not as wide open at the tips to catch and direct to the cut head. That seems to be the reason it doesnt perform like my electric. Maybe my beard hair is more stiff than others so that is a reason also that it doesn’t capture and direct to cutter head. All in all I still like it, it’s portable!
