    Good value with excellent fast aperture performance.

    So much creativity is unlocked with a f1.8 lens. Depth of focus control, low light possibilities, and in a small package. My camera practically sees in the dark with this on, and it works great for astrophotography and nightscapes. I haven't tried the astrophotography mode, but it looks to be very helpful for quick focusing on stars. The included case fits the lens nicely.
