    One week in, and it works as designed

    I have a riding lawnmower battery that doesn’t get used much, I hooked this up and overnight it charged the battery then went to maintain. So far everything works as it should, now we’ll see how long it continues to work. Complete with two connection types and one fuse.

    My Fickle Battery Tender

    I ordered two of this item. When I opened the first box, checked it out, it seemed to work as expected. I depressed the mode button fron 12V to 6V and back. It worked. I attached it to my MC 12V battery and left it connected for about 24 hrs. Went the next day to attach it to a 6V battery on my Honda Trail bike. I could not get the mode switched to 6V. So rather than fool around trying to return the thing, I just added it to my string of 12 chargers/maintainers. Then come the second one. So far it works as it's supposed to. I guess one out of two ain't bad huh? So I'll just keep the one for 12V systems and the better one for my 6V products. BTW, I would rate the second one with all yesses.

    Just Works for a Great Price

    Light wt. as it is transistorized with no huge, heavy transformer inside. Came with all the accessories you will ever need for connection to battery terminals. Just hook up the battery terminal to the battery, plug her in, and watch her charge. I like the fact that it can pump out 1.5 amps if needed, then revert to small trickle to keep batteries in top form. I have one for my motorcycle, riding lawn mower, and two Corvettes.
