This is a "gotcha" seller, buy at your own risk. Listing was for a "new" cone of with "1kg" of yarn. Actual cone was not new and contained only 900g. When I pointed this out to the seller and asked for a partial refund, they doubled down and pointed to some photos from the listing that showed the item on a scale. Fair enough: Caveat emptor. But it leaves a bad taste when the seller tells you point blank "you should have realized from the photos that my listing info was a lie."

The listing included a clear photo showing the weight of the cone, and the yarn came from Italian stock, with the original factory label intact — indicating it was new and unused. The buyer disregarded the weight shown in the photos and later demanded a $20 refund for a supposed missing 100g of yarn plus the 40g cone. The total price for 900g was only $70. I fairly offered a proportional refund based on the cone weight, which was refused. The buyer is misrepresenting our communication.
