    Good alternative to the 70-200 F2.8

    This very sharp lens is a low cost alternative to the heavier and more expensive 70-200 F2.8. I own both lenses. I own the 70-200 VR1, which I bought refurbished for several hundred dollars more than the new 70-200 constant F4. These medium zooms are workhorses and hold their value. This is a much needed addition to the Nikon lens lineup.

    Nikon 70-200mm f/4G ED VR

    Fantastic lens for the price! Produces a sharp and crisp image. I’ve been in the market for upper tier lens and for the price it’s amazing! One note is that it does seam to have more plastic than I’d like but hey, for the price/quality it can’t be beat!
