    I also purchased the K&H cover to put over the heating pad.

    I purchased this for a stray outdoor cat I take care of. I have a cat bed with a blanket in the bed, and then the covered heating pad on top. As instructions state, nothing goes on top of the covered heating pad. I have this plugged in outdoors with the bed under our stairs that lead to the patio out of our house, and so far it’s worked great. I see Miss Ellie in the bed at night, and in the morning both times when I go out to feed her, so she uses it, which made it all worthwhile. Murfeesboro, TN

    Heated Kitty Bed

    We bought this for a tortoise and he will sit on it. He has a heat light but we thought maybe heat on a low temp under him would keep him more comfortable and it works perfectly. VERY WASHABLE which some are not. Love this item.
