    works OK

    First time used it seemed a little weak. After that , steamed well..I did mostly tap and topped with distilled water. Getting the top twisted back on once filled is a bit cumbersome and like most humidifiers these days cleaning/ drying the reservoir not so easy. There is no on and off switch. Mine did not seem to glow in the dark It needs to be plugged and unplugged. I once bought a brand new lesser model VICKS humidifier did not work brand new but this one worked well. Has an ample cord.
