      Doesn't fit CF 52

      This charger will not fit a CF52 Toughbook without modifying the low voltage plug where it goes in the computer. You have to grind it down because the diameter is too large for the port.

      16v charger for Panasonic Toughbooks, good value!

      Great price point, nice to have an extra in the bag. This unit has a longer than normal AC cord so you have a bit more reach. The LED changes color from blue to purple as the unit is charging. The thing to note is that there are many 5.5mm chargers out there but the majority are 19v - this is out of spec for the Toughbook which charges at 15.5-16.5v - the higher voltage of a mismatched charger can blow a fuse on the board and lead to overcharging/battery damage.

      The contact is sensitive so you need to move it around and watch the screen icon to make sure it is charging.

      This was for a Panasonic tough book. Should have been a straight in plug it came as a 90'deg plug barely fits into the socket .
