They stuff 1" plants with minimal root systems into a damp paper towel, shove it into a 2oz plastic cup normally used for holding condiments, and then they ship it in the slowest way possible. Our first arrived as little more than mush. The seller was kind enough to reship, sending two instead, one of which arrived just as dead and mushy. The other, however, survived the trip and is now growing happily.
