      Accept no substitutes!

      This is the real vice-grip. I bought it to pair with a similar small locking plier and the differences are evident when you use the item. The metal is thicker, the teeth hold up better, and the mechanism is very smooth. One tiny drawback was that the end of the central spring was a bit open and snagged a couple of times. I was able to bend it over further and now it is not a problem. Buy the real thing, you will not regret it.
