Fast shipping, though the box was a bit on the thin side and one that I have never seen before (two piece box), the item was more protected than I thought it was when I took the top layer of bubble wrap off. I would have preferred more styrofoam padding around the outside of the box but luckily the newspaper and bubble wrap kept it safe enough that there was no damage in transit. Item as described. Happy overall and would buy from this seller again

    Buck 389 Canoe ~ A great buy

    I collect traditional knives and am comparing this Buck Canoe to knives made by Case, old US made Camillus, Böker, and others. The fit and finish is excellent for the price. It doesn't have the brass liners of its higher priced competition but that affects only appearance not function. For my tastes the opening tension is spot on and the closing snap is acceptable. The fact that this is made in China means nothing to me since I'm reviewing a knife not international trade policy. I paid a bit on the high end for this knife ($40) but I needed to replace it after my EDC Buck Canoe was stolen. Case has it beat in terms of finish as this and most other Bucks don't polish their blades and springs. I do like a mirror polish and the beauty of shiny brass liners that this Buck lacks. The ...

    Very good quality. The Buck Chinese made knives are very underrated. Bucks Chinese production ends in 2019. They will be rare.
