It was well packaged in two USPS Bubble Wrapped Envelopes. Date was correct, 5/2017 and unopened and unused. I have a HP Photosmart 1215, so getting the newest HP Ink is very important. I installed the Cartridge and after my Printer works like new. Price was the best I could find. Most Sellers don't put the date of their Ink, so I do not buy from them.
