I emailed seller what had happened and he replied his shipping person should have used a beefer box. I could tell when item arrived that fedX didn't care about the package. The unit had a couple of dents in the chassis and a few of the plugs we're knocked loose. Radio tuned up great and worked as seller advertised. I would buy from this seller again with assurances the item is well boxed up.

Received a lot of useful information and suggestions regarding the transceiver. Shipped quickly, packed carefully, and arrived safely and quickly. As described and is in excellent shape. Really appreciated the advice. I'm sure I'll have more questions later on.
