Fret ends were a tad bit sharp, and the neck wasn't particularly smooth. Nothing a file and some sanding paper couldn't quickly fix. Expected neck dive, but it actually balances at around the 15th fret. Pickups and controls work fine. Definitely a good value for the money if you're interested in trying out a 5 string bass.

I would say it's probably worth the $100 I paid for it. The back of the neck is covered with overspray. The action is so high it's almost unplayable. Because of the action, the pickup height is so low it has no output at all. The good part is it's all fixable. A little steel wool on the neck, a couple of neck shims, a truss rod tweak, and adjust the pickups. For my needs it'll be usable. Looks ok, so that's a plus.
