    Wahler OE Theromstat

    The price was so low (including free shipping) on this that one might assume it's a cheap, "aftermarket" thermostat, not to mention that Wahler is not a household name in the US. In fact, this is OE for my Volvo, a perfect replacement for the original,15-year-old thermostat, including the correct gasket. FYI, my 2001 V-70 did not require an additional gasket for the housing, I was "good to go" with this Wahler 'stat and gasket. I also replaced the temp sensor, and if yours is as old as mine was, or if your radiator fan runs at odd times, I recommend you do this, as well.
