    An excellent product in a hard to find size.

    I love this size barrel. It is a perfect size for my shorter hair and they no longer make one in this size so I was very happy to find a new old stock one. Sadly my hair has changed as I've gotten older and it's much harder to curl now. This curling iron gets hot enough to curl it but the curls don't last for me. That doesn't mean it wouldn't work for someone that had more normal hair though. Overall its an excellent product exactly as pictured and described.

    Ask questions before you buy I would not recommend

    No on and off button, no temp control - it says sliding or slides smoothly, no, clamps down with a spring so tight would tear your hair out if you tried to glide it off - worst and I found unsafe after the fact I plugged it in and sat it on my vanity as I do with my other and any other, came back and vanity was burned. There is NO rest for the curling iron, so if you lay it down the hot bar is on, whatever you lay it on. Not sure maybe I missed something, but this would easily start a fire, especially by anyone who gets it, plugs it in the first time, and lays it down which is what I think most people do with a curling iron til it heats up. Not hot enough to even make a curl. I checked it all out and it is not defective.

    CURL N ' CURLS

    Once this iron was received and OPENED- I was VERY disappointed for the following reasons: a. There is no on or off button - i have to plug in and take plug our every time used; b. There is no real "stand" to hold iron up off the counter - I need to make sure it's not near or on a counter for any length of time so that it does not burn or leave any marks; c. It does not have any temperate control - but then again, it doesn't have an off and on button!
