I need the switch for a 1972 9 1/2 Johnson/Evinrude and that part number was in the description as well as it was said to be from a 1982 Evinrude 40Hp 2 stroke. It looked as though it would come apart (the retaining nut) and would fit my needs....I was incorrect. I am happy with this sale.
