    Great Peace of Mind

    This item sells locally at Lowe’s for $30, so I purchased one on eBay for a little cheaper. To say my expectations were met, would be an understatement. This device is very well constructed and heavy duty. The only modification I made was using 3” screws, instead of the supplied screws, to mount the device to a porch post. Very satisfied with this product and would recommend for anyone to use indoor or outdoor for peace of mind that a spare key is always truly secured and accessible.

    A Good Product for the Money

    I am sure that there are significantly better devices like this available but for the money the Master Lock Wall Mount Lock Box is an excellent choice. It is rugged, easy to set up and a breeze to install. One nice feature is that it has a cover for the combo lock that is designed to protect it from the elements.

    Only takes 1 minute 30 seconds to open! Without the combination!

    This lock can be decoded with a small piece of metal from a soda can in approximately 1 minutes 30 seconds. It doesn't matter what the code is. I wouldn't trust this lock at all. The body is pretty sturdy though!

    Handy

    After locking myself out of the house, I decided to look for options. Researched rock hide-a-keys, etc but they could be moved or misplaced. Found this alternative. Perfect! Easily installed to the wall next to the back door. It was very easy to program. Now, the only thing I have to do is remember the darned access code and put the key back when I'm done...

    Much cheaper than breaking a window or kicking in a door.

    I bought this with several uses in mind. One being if locked out of the house you can safely and easily store a key to get in. The main thought is in the event I'd need emergency services and was home alone and couldn't get to the door, I could give them the code to get the keys without having to bust down my door and creating a large expense. This is a great size an mounted it on the door jam between the front door and storm door. A convenient and weather proof spot.
