    Great value for the $$$

    This bass has clean, clear tone and remarkable sustain for a fretless. Of course, I had to change the strings before I could play it since round wound strings will eat up the fretboard. Tapewound strings are mellow and give it more of a stand-up bass sound. It seems well balanced, and I don't have any problems with neck-dive. Overall, I think the B-205SM is a great value for the money. I'm very pleased with this bass.
