    Great light, best value

    My son and I bought a 9 led uv flashlight from Walmart for $8.98 +tax. It work pretty well for lighting up scorpions around the house. Then my son found this one on Ebay for a few dollars less and it had 51 uv led's. Wow what a difference! The 2 flashlights side by side there is no comparison! This one wins hands down. Besides lighting up a much larger area, we think it lights the scorpions up much further away. We have used it for a couple of weeks now and have had no issues with it at all. For what its worth, we recommend it. For just under $7 it hard to go wrong. See the photos, #1 is under a regular flashlight #2 is with both regular and uv flashlights (pics 1 and 2 are of the same scorpion in the same spot) #3 is a different scorpion under only the uv flashlight.

    very bright

    The flashlight takes 3 AA batteries where the smaller ones usually take AAA. It's very bright. I have colorful sneakers and some rocks I collected. Even holding it at chest level they glowed. IMO the range was much longer than I expected. If you are checking your toilet the range is about 3 to 4 feet, you shouldn't need to get any closer than that. For $6.95 this was an excellent deal.
