I haven't tried using to design from scratch yet, but it plays nice with vector exports of almost any kind. The carriage doesn't have a lot of space above it, so it can be tricky to seat a sharpie for patterns, but it fits. It can handle even my smallest decals with awesome accuracy, 0.25" text. It's BIG, make sure you have about 6 feet of floor space. =D

- c***6 (69)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseFor the price it's a lot of plotter, nice LED illuminated material feed. it is quite, so far so good. what I am not happy with. the jump drive they give you is really useless for instructions mine had a virus, but it all comes from China. no real good clear instructions on how to operate the plotter or how to use the contour cut. you will eventually figured out if you watch a youtube video over and over again. there are misspelled words in the useless hand book. but again with all that aside
