I purchased the controller to use on a 12 volt fan in an RV to reduce the fan speed and noise. However, once installed it reduced the speed very well but the fan motor then made a buzzing noise that would be very noticeable and intrusive at night. I suppose it depends on the fan motor, but it's something to be aware of.

The LED's proved that it was way above zero and not dim but still very bright. 0% means 0%, next to no current flowing regardless of the switch being off or on. Design is still not where it could be.
