Previously no import duties or taxes were imposed on purchases made on ebay. I was shocked to find out that in order to deliver the package DHL was claiming Rs 993 around 20$ when the shipping was free. This is really discouraging for us buyers. I hope that EBay tries to level the playing field otherwise we might stop buying online.
