This is a front-firing 12-inch, 475-watt peak powered subwoofer that produces deep and rich sound, powerful enough to literally rattle the floor even at relatively low volume. A patented BIC "Venturi" vent eliminates disturbing port noise while playing high-end music and videos. An adjustable crossover and adjustable volume control and inputs for both Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Digital/DTS add even more functionality. The frequency response of 25Hz - 200Hz ensures crisp and clear audio at all sound levels. The black cube exterior design is understated and attractive, and the mesh grille comes off for those who want to display the metallic-trimmed cone.

Great sound for little money
For the price, you can't really beat this sub. It sounds great and gets as loud as you want it. That being said, this unit is geared more towards movies and sound effects and really breathes new life into your favorite movies and shows. However, it's biggest downfall is that it's not exactly the most musical sub out there, but the sound quality is definitely not bad and won't ruin your jam sessions. It's built well, nice and heavy, and doesn't feel cheap by any means, and the amp is healthy and well-equipped. The hookups give you many options, with high level speaker wire in/out inputs with five way binding posts and LFE input. Would've been nice to have a full RCA input with the option of using only one as an LFE, but for this price you can't expect a Mercedes at a Kia price. Also, other ... For the price, you can't really beat this sub. It sounds great and gets as loud as you want it. Great sound
I have to say that this speaker puts out excellent bass.. I have owned two 10inch subwoofers.. one was a Velodyne down firing and the other was a klipsch front firing. The klipsch blew a fuse and couldn't stop blowing them. so I gave the Bic a try and I am very pleased with the amount of bass this sub puts out. It really brings out the bass when I watch movies. With a frequency going down all the way to 40Hz , you can expect to get the lowest levels of bass from your movies. Speaker didn't sound to good when placed in front of me but when placed in the corner of the room, WOW!! SUPER BASS!!! Everything rumbles!!! Everything is vibrating making the movie experience more real .. Woofer is made well and isn't cheap. the surround on the woofer is of good quality and helps to keep the speaker ... Speaker has a 5 year warranty on it.. AMAZING!! well worth the buy...

well worth the money
Im very pleased with the sound and quality of this sub woofer, but when I got it and hooked it up it didn't work so I pulled the amp off to gain access to the speaker and found the negative wire came disconnected during shipping, other than that its been a good experience , I also bought a 15 inch off brand sub at the same time and this one has a deeper hard hitting low bass I highly recommend this sub.Im very pleased with the sound and quality of this sub woofer, but when I got it and hooked it up it didn't work so I pulled the amp off to gain access to the speaker and found the negative wire came disconnected during shipping, other than that its been a good experience , I also bought a 15 inch off brand sub at the same time and this one has a deeper hard hitting low bass I highly recommend this sub.

I’ve read the reviews for the Bic America F12 Subwoofer and have not regretted my purchase. The sub doesn’t take much volume to hear the deep booming sounds from movies but equally impressive in its audio quality for music in separating the bass drums and guitar. The black finish is clean while the grill is simple in design. While this sub is not as heavy as others I’ve seen, it looks to be well built. A sub of this caliber in the price range I purchased was well worth it!!!! Looking for the second one soon I’ve read the reviews for the Bic America F12 Subwoofer and have not regretted my purchase. Earthquake!!!
This sub shakes the walls, floor and windows without it even being turned up. Great bang for buck, its not audiophile quality, but if you want some boom to your existing setup without having to break the bank this is a great choice. It is quite large, so hopefully you have planned out some space for it, but it is well worth it.
