      Good heron stop!

      I've had it installed for 2 months now - no herons! I bought this to try and stop herons from feeding on my koi. Since installing, I haven't had any signs of the heron. It's a quick install - just put the batteries in, put the settings where you need them, install the stake and push it into the ground.

      Rabbit friendly

      I cannot understand how to set this device to make it keep rabbits out of the flowers. The instructions don't give wven a clue. A total waste of money!

      REPELS RACCOONS AND SKUNKS

      This is the fifth one of these that I have ordered because they work so well in repelling raccoons and skunks. I have had the first one for over five years and the batteries have never needed recharging because it is solar charged. I set it on "5" and M+ to get the correct sound and light to repel skunks and raccoons. I set up a game camera by them and know that the small animals stay 20 feet away from the Yard Gard, whereas they used to come up to my back door. I used two of them in my flower garden to keep the skunks and raccoons from digging under my flowers. I use two to keep them away from the doors of my screen porch, and one to keep them away from a utility box that they used to get into. However, it does not repel opossums.

      It has not scared away any animals yet. It is still there.

      We put it in the back yard and faced where the skunk and woodchuck go by and the skunk sprayed it....

      Did Not Work For Me

      At different times, 3 cats and 1 raccoon, have stopped and looked at the device and simply walked around it. It seemed to get their attention but did not bother them. Maybe if the volume was much louder.
