    Bit of a drag.

    I'm on the fence with this product. The idea is good but where they can be fitted is rather limited. I currently have them fitted to coach bogies to provide lighting. There is a lot of drag preventing the wheels freely running as there is a fine line at the point of contact. Too heavy and you run the risk of no wheel rotation, and too light and losing power due to movement. I have fitted them to all four pairs of wheels to prevent flickering when running over points and dead spots of rail gaps. Perhaps this is over doing it. Another product by the same maker to do the same thing is on order, hopefully this will provide what I require.

    Not cheap, but could salvage a poor runner

    This seems like an expensive product, but actually there are enough in the pack to convert 4 locos. I have finished my first, an Airfix 14xx and what a difference, from the worst running loco in the shed to one of the best. Care and thought is needed in fitting but results are good
