    Excellent and versatile

    So our loppers aren't draper but when ours broke we couldn't find the replacement we needed. Found this one and thought we'd give it a try, not only was it quick and easy to fit, it also gave our loppers a new lease of life. Forget buying a new set, this little piece of kit has ours working perfectly.

    Excellent and easy replacement

    After 23 years needed a new anvil for my loppers. The old anvil finally wore out and broke. This new anvil took seconds to fit using a spanner. Loppers good as new , anvil appears just as good as the original.

    How to save the planet whilst repairing garden croppers.

    I had two long handled garden branch pruning croppers with broken anvils. The mechanisms were in perfect order but I couldn't find suitable replacement anvils. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm a compulsive hoarder they regretfully would have been thrown away ! However, purely by chance, I happened to see these anvils on ebay so bought one.With some slight adjustment it fitted perfectly so I bought another. I now have two croppers working as new, a terrific saving over the alternative of buying two new replacements. Also a saving of the country's resources & a small contribution towards saving the planet in an increasingly throw-away society.

    Return your lopping shears to full working order with this spare part

    This remarkable little part, which I came across almost by accident when looking for a new pair of lopping shears, enable me to refurbish the existing pair. The anvil had broken off, which rendered the shears inoperative. The new anvil has restored them to full use with a minimal expense. Highly recommended.

    Not just for Draper, fitted my unbranded loppers too.

    This was bought speculatively to replace the broken anvil on my unbranded telescopic handle tree loppers (probably Lidl, or Aldi special). As others have found, fits with only minor adjustment and gives a new lease of life to an otherwise useless tool, saving me some money and the environment a bit of landfill! Worth a try if it looks similar to the anvil on your loppers.
