My toaster is over 20 years old, and when it stopped toasting properly about 5 years ago, I fitted some cheap non-genuine elements. I didn’t really notice how poor they were as the original elements had deteriorated. Now that the cheapo elements have failed, I decided to go for genuine, and I’m so glad I did. The toaster seems to work twice as fast - it’s so much hotter! Elements arrived next day as well, so I can’t fault these suppliers.
