Very clean bass that doesn't drown others. It doesn't come with a mix amp nor volume rockers or mute buttons. It comes packed with the headset that plugs directly into your PS4 controller, a separate mic and audio cable for PC hookup and a detachable mic. That's all you're getting for the HyperX Cloud Core refurbished package. To get the full potential of the HyperX Cloud Core, I highly recommend getting a mix amp that supports both treble and bass boosts. The headset doesn't need it but for gaming I enjoy explosions to rattle my headset. You can get those here pretty cheap. Just make sure it accepts 3.5mm jacks. Music sounds fantastic especially if you have a device like the LG V10 that supports HI-FI audio since the headset fully utilizes those sources. You get crisp sound. Great for an Overwatch player such as myself. The Mic sound quality is superb and the headphones build quality is outstanding. The extra "y" cable extender is crazy long as well which is a great thing if you want to plug it in to the back of your desktop/or sit far away from your audio source.

I bought this because it will work with PC and Xbox. I was hesitant about the recert but it seems to work like new. Only downside with the xbox its hard to get it to the game volume does not drown out the chat volume because the mic has no in line vol control so you need to use the xbox adapter. It would also be nice if you could hear your self when you speak but you can not.

It’s really a good quality headset. I could hear everything . It’s very comfortable for long wear and the mic is great. I would not have known that this headset was refurbished it’s just like new . No scratches or anything like that. It was in great condition. The only con I can think of about this item is the fact that it doesn’t come with the USB adapter but other than that it’s lovely and totally worth it
