I also cut about 1\3 of the rubber stopper off inside the brake mechanism to give less resistance. I'm happy with it now. This piece of plastic appears to be practically indestructible. Pricey for a piece of plastic, but it's not like I'm going to go out and buy 3D printer. Shipping was very fast also.
