      Great hood - Modified mine to fit my Canon WD-H58 Wide Converter

      This Mennon lens hood is designed for 77mm lenses with threads in the front. I modified mine to fit my Canon WD-H58 Wide Converter which has no threads in front. Additionally that converter is 77.4mm. I love the lens hood and also have the 58mm model. Well made, durable and do very well with my Canon HF S30 camcorder. I can add further detail on the modifications I made if there is interest. Note that it is a permanent modification made for my specific use and once completed the lens hood will no longer thread onto a 77mm lens. The mod allows me to press the Mennon lens hood straight onto the Canon WD-H58 Wide Converter.

      Unique and useful

      Well made. However, I realized such would be even more useful if it was made so that an extra lens or filter could be attached at the same time. As it is - it's an either or situation.
